I alter this recipe on daily basis according to how I feel and what’s in my fridge, but the basics are pretty much the same. Until I started juicing few months ago I wouldn’t even think of drinking broccoli! Apart from other nutrients it is a good source of calcium and iron (great if you are on dairy free diet). I always end up with lots of stalks in my fridge and this is a good way to use them up. Cucumber can be easily substituted for courgette. I’ve never been a fan of celery but the taste is somehow disguised in the juice.
Pears are super cheap and amazing ingredients in juicing. The nutrients in these are endless and they just transform the taste of the juice.
Sometimes I add about inch of ginger. Especially in the winter months.
The last photo is to show how dry the pulp comes out of the machine. There is very minimal waste when using the masticating juicer.
