Easy Dairy Free Apple Crumble

by BerryTasty

Who doesn’t love warm, just out of the oven, sweet smelling apple crumble topped with delicious, creamy custard. I love the simplicity of this dessert and the fact that you can make it as sweet as you like or not at all. There are so many delicious apples around right now and I can’t get enough of them.

Red Apples on a black board

If you use very sweet types of apples such as Gala or Fuji you will only need a small amount of sugar if any at all! To make this recipe refined sugar free use maple syrup or honey.

Apples chopped in a red cast iron dish

I love my apple crumble with a custard but it is just as good with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! Coconut yoghurt would also work great! Apples are the stars of this recipe and combined with cinnamon, this is a proper winter warmer!

Apple Crumble in a red cast iron dish

I love using my cast iron dish whenever possible but any oven proof dish is fine.

Use seasonal apples and make this much loved dessert this weekend!

Hello, welcome to my blog!

Berrytastyblog.com about me photo

Nice to meet you! I’m Kristina and I’m blogging about dairy free cooking. Both of my kids suffered with food allergies and hence I have been trying to come up with a way to feed our family without having to cook four different meals a day and enjoy the process at the same time. I’m a working mum, I love food, travelling, photography, yoga and days out with my two girls and my husband Tom.
